Some biblical stories need more than words to be truly understood. The building of Noah's Ark is one of them: a colossal four-hundred-and-fifty-foot structure raised on dry land for nearly a century, by a man who believed in something he had never seen. Today we are launching a new interactive 3D special that places you inside that story — literally.
What "Noah's Ark" is about
Visit the special at heroisdabiblia.com.br/especial/arcadenoe/en and scroll: the camera takes you on an eight-chapter journey through a three-dimensional model of the ark, while the narrative of Genesis 6 to 9 unfolds beside you, with clickable King James verses.
Each chapter has its own visual atmosphere, its own lighting, its own cinematic ambient sound. You are not reading about the flood — you are floating above it.
Eight moments of the story
The journey was built to follow the sacred text faithfully:
- The Corruption of the Earth (Genesis 6:5-7) — ten generations after Adam, human wickedness had become continuous and irreparable.
- Noah Found Grace (Genesis 6:8-9) — a righteous man amid universal apostasy.
- The Divine Order (Genesis 6:14-16) — the exact dimensions revealed by God: 300 × 50 × 30 cubits.
- The Construction (Genesis 6:22) — a hundred years of silent obedience, every axe-stroke a sermon.
- The Animals Enter (Genesis 7:2-3) — the supernatural procession of pairs, seven by seven of the clean, two by two of the unclean.
- The Flood (Genesis 7:11-12) — forty days and forty nights of rain, with rising water effects, lightning, and the rocking of the ark.
- The Dove and the Branch (Genesis 8:10-11) — the sign of peace with God, with an animated dove flying over the receding waters.
- The Rainbow Covenant (Genesis 9:13-15) — seven colored arcs rising on the horizon as an eternal promise.
More than a video: you control the pace
Unlike a linear documentary, the special is driven by your own scroll. Want to go back and reread a verse? Scroll up. Want to rotate the ark freely to inspect the details? Click "View 3D Model" and use your mouse to orbit. Want larger fonts? There is an A / A+ / A++ selector in the top-right. Want full immersion? The fullscreen button hides the interface.
The special is available in Portuguese, English (King James verses), and Spanish (Reina-Valera 1960). Just click the language selector in the upper-right corner.
Why this matters
Noah's Ark is not merely an archaeological curiosity. It points to something greater. The apostle Peter called it a figure of baptism (1 Peter 3:20-21). The single door of the ark prefigures Christ, who said, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved." The flood was a universal judgment, but God's mercy preserved eight lives — and sealed the promise with the most recognized sign in human history: the rainbow.
